HAMMER – NEW NAMES TO COME

Monday October 21, 2019
CRADLEY Heathens are working on bringing new riders into next Monday’s showpiece F.A.S.T Golden Hammer at Wolverhampton (7.30).

Kent’s rearranged Grand Final date with Leicester for the same night, along with Heathens ace Jack Smith suffering concussion, means four spaces are now available.

Tom Spencer, a firm favourite with Anchor Logistics Heathens fans after an impressive year with the club, has been promoted from reserve to replace Smith.

And the club are looking to draft in three more riders for the end of season event which features 15 heats and a Grand Final.

Boss Will Pottinger said: “Tom has been great for us this season and I’ve been very impressed with him.

“We are working on other riders as some have been ruled out with the rearrangement of Kent v Leicester for the same night.

“It’s going to be a good way to bring the curtain down on the season and we’re looking forward to it. More new names will be added and announced as we get them.”
